On the basis
of this concept, PWNA (Proven Winners North America) introduced new varieties
to the flower markets in the USA, which proved to be a great hit.
And after that, new European members from the UK, Spain, Italy, Denmark,
Slovakia, Poland, Sweden joined and in 1999, PWEU (Proven Winners Europe)

In Japan, the first practical activity as PW was started when Superchunia
Mini was introduced in 2001. PW was born in response to the wishes of
flower consumers all over the world who never stop seeking exciting new
varieties. PW members in different regions in the world are processing
trials of new varieties and convincing the necessity of PW through same
activity in each territory.
The purpose of PW is the breeding of new varieties and the trial and
evaluation activity is done simultaneously in each country. Even for marketing
and promotional activities, all members attend international meetings
on a regular basis to focus on the same design, schedule for same varieties
under the same brand. PW is working on the simultaneous introduction of
outstanding varieties all over the world, similar to PW’s concurrent development
of flower varieties across the globe.
PW’s major activities to establish superiority in the market
1. Supply of new varieties, clean cuttings
2. Development of new exciting varieties
3. Implementation of a ‘clean stock’ program to supply only clean, healthy
stock plants
The aim of these activities is to create new promising varieties, and
bring them into concurrent trial programs to compare their environmental
adaptation in each territory. This is the most mutually beneficial marketing
program, where everyone is satisfied, from the growers to the consumers.
To be a PW member, it is required not only to be specialized in flower
production, but also to meet the following conditions;
